Influence of valve train on power

(1) The impact of valve sinking on power. In general experience, when the amount of valve sinking exceeds the allowable value, the power drops by 1 to 1.5 kilowatts. (2) The air tightness of the valve requires that the valve and the seat must fit tightly, and no air leakage is allowed. The influence of valve air leakage on power varies depending on the degree of air leakage. Generally, it can be reduced by 3 to 4 kilowatts. Gasoline can be used to test the valve tightness, and leakage is not allowed for 3 to 5 minutes. (3) The adjustment of valve clearance should not be too small, and should be adjusted according to technical requirements. The small valve clearance not only affects the stability of fire, but also reduces the power by 2 to 3 kilowatts, and sometimes even more. (4) The intake time directly affects the mixing degree of air and fuel and the compression temperature, so it affects the power and smoke. This is mainly caused by the wear of camshafts and timing gears. The overhauled generator must check the valve phase, otherwise the power will be affected by 3 to 5 kilowatts. (5) The air leakage of the cylinder head sometimes leaks outward from the cylinder head gasket. This should not be underestimated. Not only is it easy to burn the cylinder head gasket, it will also reduce the power by 1 to 1.5 kilowatts.

The influence of fuel system, cooling system and lubrication system on power

After the diesel is injected into the cylinder, it is mixed with air to form a combustible mixture. In order to ensure that the combustible mixture is fully burned, and the combustion pressure reaches the maximum at a certain time after top dead center, to ensure the normal operation of the diesel generator, therefore, the fuel injector The fuel injection must be started at some point before the compression top dead center, and the fuel supply time of the fuel injection pump is too early or too late to ensure that the mixture injected into the cylinder burns better.

When the oil viscosity of the diesel generator is relatively high, the power output of the diesel generator will be increased. In this case, the lubrication system should be cleaned regularly and replaced with a suitable brand of oil. If there is less oil in the oil pan, it will increase the resistance of the oil and seriously reduce the output power of the diesel. Therefore, the oil in the oil pan of the diesel generator should be controlled between the upper and lower engraved lines of the oil dipstick.
